Previously, he was editor, Americas for Risk in New York and editor of Asia Risk magazine in Hong Kong. In addition to journalism, he has worked as a novelist and has had three thrillers published and translated into five languages by major international publishing houses. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England.
