The Nags Head in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire is an AA 4 Star graded traditional 15th century country inn and restaurant situated along the valley of the River Misbourne in the glorious Chiltern Hills. Included in the Michelin pub guide, brought to you by the Michaels family, owners of the award-winning Bricklayers Arms in Flaunden, Hertfordshire, the newly refurbished Nags Head serves an "Anglo - French" fusion menu. The Nags Head has been awarded an AA Rosette for it's culinary excellence and accredited in several guides including a Hardens Guide "Commenendation Award" chosen as "AA Pick of the Pubs" in the AA Pub Guide and a recommendation in the much coveted Michelin guide and featured on the front cover of Michelin's "eating out in pubs" guide 2010. The kitchen is run under the auspices of executive head chef, Claude Paillet, twice the UK winner of the Publican magazine "Chef of the Year". The newly refurbished Nags Head keeps all of its original features, including a large inglenook fireplace and low old oak beams, and many new features including a new bar and stylish new furnishings throughout.
