The nation's first literary center opened its doors in autumn 2007 in Oslo's old teacher's college. From the cellar to be paid now housed in Wergelandsveien 29 to literature in the widest sense. Litteraturhuset operated by House of Literature Foundation, which was created by Fritt Ord in 2006.
