Acorn Naturalists is a science and environmental education supply company, directed today by the same educators who founded the company a quarter century ago.

The first resource catalog, a 16-page listing of science and environmental education activity books, has grown into a comprehensive catalog that showcases thousands of exemplary science and outdoor education resources for all ages and abilities. This catalog is available both in printed form and online.

The consulting division of the company, The Acorn Group, specializes in advancing the field of museum design, outdoor education, playscape design, trail media, exhibit design, strategic planning for education, and program evaluation.

Acorn Naturalists has also been recognized for its early incorporation of state of the art green programs. The League of Conservation honored Acorn Naturalists with the Orange County Environmental Business of the Year Award, and the cofounders and current Directors of the company were honored with the Howard Bell Award for Outstanding Achievements and Contributions as Leaders in the Field of Environmental Education by the Association.
