The Alter Ego Comics website was launched in 2003, specializing in high-end action figures and collectibles.

Our retail store opened in 2005 and specializes in new comic books, graphic novels, non-electronic games and movie/TV collectibles.

Alter Ego Comics was named the 2013 Small Business of the Year by the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce.

We chose the name Alter Ego Comics for two reasons: In a world where superheroes have "Alter Egos," the name seemed to fit perfectly. It also put us at the beginning of alphabetical listings.
