Destinations Booksellers is owned by Randy Smith and Ann Baumgartle of New Albany. Randy operates the store six days a week. The store has been a member of the American Booksellers Association since its opening and participates in a variety of ABA programs.

During our almost ten years in New Albany we’ve been blessed to discover a small but vibrant community of readers. We’ve hosted numerous authors, both local and national, including Tim Dorsey, Garth Stein, and Gloria Allred. We’ve also tried to be good citizens, making our space available for seminars, meetings, and public affairs forums. We even, briefly, ran an Internet radio show.
