Fields Book Store has served San Francisco and spiritual seekers worldwide since 1932. The store is still in its original location on Polk Street where George Fields first opened his doors to the City's writers and readers. Longtime friends of Fields may remember the store as a nexus for the Gurdjieff Work, and the contributions of previous owner Ruth Hill Cooke to local Fourth Way studies.
